CPAs recognize that their profession is hot, the advantages are clear and there are no limits to a CPA career path. We would like to pass this message on to New Jersey students who might be interested in a career in business. The NJSCPA has created a “CPA Road Show” presentation, which includes everything from career opportunities, to fun facts, to quizzes to videos. It allows students to learn about options provided by the CPA career path and explains to them that accounting is actually the language of finance. We will even talk about scholarship money that we offer to students interested in studying accounting.
As financial literacy is becoming an increasing problem for every income group in our society, the Society's presentations address the value of saving and planning for the long term, hoping to show students that there are other options for the money they earn besides purchasing the latest technology.
